Lens

Detail
A thin lens is a type of lens where the thickness of the central part is relatively large compared to the curvature radius of both sides. In the early days, cameras were only equipped with a convex lens, hence the name "single lens". With the increasing development of technology, modern lenses have several different forms and functions of convex and concave lenses to form a converging lens, known as a "compound lens". The concave lens in a compound lens serves to correct various aberrations. Optical glass has high transparency, purity, colorless, uniform texture, and good refractive ability, so it is the main raw material for lens production. Due to the different chemical composition and refractive index, optical glass includes flint glass, coronal glass and lanthanum crown glass.
